Credits in rtcStats

How credits are used and calculated in rtcStats.

To simplify things, you can safely assume that for the most part, a credit is a file uploaded to rtcstats.com.

If you want to analyze a WebRTC session and you upload its file to rtcstats.com, then 1 credit will be used on your account for that purpose.

What size of files can be supported depends on the plan you are using.

There are 2 types of credits in rtcStats:

  1. Monthly credits
  2. Additional credits (also known as Gold credits)

Monthly credits

Monthly credits replenish every month based on our monthly billing cycles.

For free accounts, they enable the basic analysis the platform has to offer. For our paid plans, they also offer access to the Observations, Deductions and AI engine - all of which are geared towards reducing your troubleshooting time from hours to minutes and to find root causes quickly, efficiently and accurately.

Additional credits

Additional credits are credits that don't replenish at the end of the month. They stay with you until they get used. When your plan has 0 credits left for the month, the additional credits will be used, allowing you access to the platform without any additional friction.

Additional credits are available only on paid accounts and always offer access to the Observations, Deductions and AI engine.

Additional credits will not be valid any longer if you decide to switch back to a free account. They will be with you for as long as you are on a paid plan.

Gold credits are a unique type of credits we offer to free accounts that are created. They give you access to our Observations, Deductions and AI engine so you can experience then. If your account has Gold credits in it, these will be prioritized for use when you upload new files for analysis.

You can purchase additional credits if you are on a paid plan at any time.
