Free accounts
Understand how free accounts work in rtcStats and be able to gain the maximum value out of them.
rtcStats offers free accounts on rtcstats.com. The only thing you need to do to gain access to one is to sign up for the service using your email address along with a unique password or to use your Google or GitHub credentials.
Once an account is created, it adheres to the guidelines found on our pricing page for free accounts. The information there may change from time to time. If there are any discrepencies between what is written here and the pricing page - you can safely assume the pricing page is more accurate 😀
What's in a free account
Free accounts offer the following capabilities out of the box:
- 3 team members, which can collaborate together on the same project
- 25 credits for use every month. Read more about credits in rtcstats
- 5 gold credits for your first 5 uploads to the system. Gold credits offer deeper analysis capabilities that include access to our Observations, Deductions and AI engine results. These don't replenish like the regular credits
- 1 month retention, after which the files uploaded will be removed from your account and disposed of
- Support for uploading both webrtc-internals and rtcstats file formats
Why upgrade
There are multiple reasons to upgrade. Here are the most relevant ones:
- You don't want to waste time troubleshooting and would like to get to the root causes faster (think minutes instead of hours)
- You want to automate the process and gain access to our API or even embed our visuals into your own dashboard
- You need more than 25 uploads a month for your use
- You are part of a larger organization with the need to collaborate and communicate around WebRTC sessions
- You've got things we don't do yet and want us to prioritize it. We are more receptive to our paying customers 😉
Once you are ready, check out how to upgrade to a paid plan
And if you're still not sure, you can always contact us to ask for a trial of our popular Developer plan.
